It's a lively vibe. Off the back, Bungalow Heights has its own parking which is free before 2 or 3PM and then there's valet only around 4 or 5PM. Once inside, the seating is spacious from outside seating on a beautiful day to inside areas. I've visited before, but have missed leaving a review, you know, bar nights are different than brunch and early afternoon visits. Enjoyed coming right at the cusp of brunch ending, I didn't eat, but had drinks and I was impressed. I started with a pineapple mimosa carafe and the champagne used in it was so smooth, I wish I had asked what they used so I can make my own at home, but guess that's part of the draw. For my second drink, the Love Me Not, vodka based cocktail, maybe it was a new drink, I noticed the bartender ask about making it and he looked at a sheet to verify the ingredients. I was skeptical at first, but he proved to make it well. It was refreshing and not overly sweet. For my last drink I thoroughly enjoyed the Bailey's Salted Caramel Cold Foam Espresso Martini and it was Dairy Free! It is house made espresso martini with their twist on it. If you enjoy espresso martini's you'll enjoy how the salted caramel with the almond milk liquor and spiced rum blend harmoniously with the vodka and coffee liquor. The balance of flavor of mine was spot on, not too much coffee and not too much added sweetening. My friend Jason got the Hangover Nachos which you get choice of waffle fries, fries, tots or tortilla chips with toppings and a fried egg. I only tried a morsel of the waffle fry with the toppings and thought it was good. Nothing stood out on my bite, so likely needed some seasoning or salt. Overall, it can get loud as it is good place for groups to gather, affordable prices, the music keeps you dancing, the staff was mostly friendly and they had a bar back going around maintaining the cleanliness of the place.

I've been to Bungalow Heights a handful of times. It's near a few other bars (which makes for a fun day of bar hopping). On one occasion, a friend of mine ordered chicken wings and said they were bland. As if that weren't bad enough, some of the wings were undercooked! I've never ordered food and probably never will after seeing those undercooked wings. What I will order, is one of their creative craft cocktails! I don't think I've had a cocktail at Bungalow that I didn't like. The menu changes often. The prices range from $12-14 which isn't bad compared to other craft cocktail bars around town. On my last visit, I had the Bailey's Salted Caramel Cold Foam Espresso Martini. This drink was extremely boozy! I didn't realize the cold foam was infused with Bailey's. The first sip nearly took me out! The drink itself was very good and the coffee flavor was prominent. The caramel and cold foam elevated the drink and I could honestly drink a NA version of this because it tasted like a fancy latte. They have a nice selection of craft beers on draft as well as canned and bottled beer. There's also wine and THC seltzer. The inside is spacious. The large tables are perfect for groups. They also have a patio with swings and rocking chairs that wraps around the building. Bungalow has their own parking lot with a decent number of spaces. Depending on the time, the lot may be valet. On my last visit, I got to the bar around 3:45 pm on a Saturday and was able to self park for free. At some point (either 4 or 4:30 pm) it turned to valet only. My friend self parked and still had to pay the valet (I think it was $10). They do monitor the lot, so only park there if you're planning to patronize the business.

One of my favorite bars on 20th, great mix of drinks and good food. As you know 20th street is now the hopping place to be, full of bars with more popping up every year. However, bungalow heights has been my favorite for a long time and will still be. First, it has parking! And it's free (though I haven't been on Friday nights or Saturday nights which may be partly valet only). It's not the biggest venue, but still a good mix of indoor and outdoor dining. It's a seat yourself casual kind of place, but the staff is efficient enough. They have an extensive set of draft beers, and an adequate liquor selection. Inside is a more rustic feel, less of the party scene though it can get crowded. Prices are very reasonable as drinks go, better than others nearby. And the food is very good. Got the fish tacos which were cooked perfectly and came with some awesome sauce. The wings are always solid. And food comes out decently quick as well.

Love this place ! Only have one person that makes me an old fashion and she's the best!

I come here frequently for post-work drinks since I work close by and I wanted to come finally leave a review after several positive experiences here. You can order at the bar or they also come by the table for service. They are always so nice and attentive here! We love ordering the chambongs here, they are so fun and reasonably priced! They have a pretty big selection of specialty cocktails and I have tried a couple and they are all delcious. My favorite is the "I can't even" which is a tequila based drink with jalapenos. Spicy and refreshing! Most recently my friend and I ordered the loaded nachos but with fries instead of nachos to snack on. I was so impressed by this plate!!! We chose chicken for our protein and it was so tender, juicy and flavorful. Normally bars like these do not have quality food and I am telling you this is the best plate of loaded fries I have ever had. Thats it, thats the review!

After having a drink at a neighboring place and not loving it, we decided to pop over to Bungalow Heights for dinner and another drink. When we arrived, we looked at the drink options and settled on beer and wine. While there, I also tried the frozen aperol spritz which was unique and something to try if you like aperol spritz drinks. As per the usual, its a upscale casual atmosphere and a pleasant place to hang out. As the restaurant was so empty, we decided to just sit at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and happy to make suggestions on food items. We decided to order the chicken quesadilla and the hot crispy chicken sandwich. Both of us enjoyed the meals and thought they were well made but weren't WOW'd with the item/ wouldn't likely order them again. The quesadilla was served with pico, sour cream and black beans which was nice as well. All in all, we'll be back but would likely try other dishes next time.

Checked out Bungalow for the second time last night and the verdict is in, I like this place ! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Nice decor. Southernly charmed patios. Refreshing a/c. Good looking people, cute dogs. Not too busy on a Saturday night, but not at all dead and boring. Great r&b, hip hop popish music from the '00s & '10s that reminded me of great times I've had in my college and yesteryears. They have food. I had a few bites of a friend's fried chicken. It was tender and well seasoned. Another friend had wings and complained that they weren't thoroughly cooked and were very bland. They did look bland and not very appealing. Service was good, fair. A nice place to relax and enjoy time with friends. Parking is free and EZ if you arrive at a reasonable time which is a major htown bonus. Great place!
